Our District Governor in such a person of character who has been entrusted
with various responsible positions.
Born on May 25th 1959 to Sri Muthusamy and Smt.Nachiar. He completed his
graduation from St.Xavier College at Palayamkottai and Law from Madurai
Law College. He practiced Law till 1985 and later started his multicrore Hotel
Business. He is the Managing Partner of Hotel Darling Residency, Vellore,and
Darling Digital World. Partner in Subha Shree Group of Finance Companies. President of Sri Vaishnavi Sangam, Vice President of Tamil Nadu Hotel Owners
Association, Sri Jalakandeswarar Dharma Sthabanam, Tirupathi Tirumala
Information Centre, Discharged Prisoners AID Society, Vice Patron of Indian
Red Cross Society etc.
He is a “Total Success”, because he has perfectly
balanced his physical, mental as well as his personal, family and professional
life.
Joined Lionism in 1983 in the Lions Club of Vellore and served in all posts at
the Club level as well as district level as Secretary, President, Zone Chairman,
Region Chairman, District Chairman. He made an history in the District when
he was the District Chairman for Leadership and Diabetic Awareness. He has
been recognised for his valuable services by Lions Clubs International which
bestowed on him 100% President Award and International President’s Appreciation
Award. He was also accorded Best District Chairman Award in the
Multiple District. Elected to the coveted position of Vice District Governorship
added one more precious stone to his crown.
He had widely traveled Australia, Germany, Singapore, Japan, France, England,
Rome, South Africa, Bangkok, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Switzerland, USA, Canada etc.,
and also attended International Convention at Hong Kong in 1992.
Happily married to Lns.Susila on 29-04-1982 and blessed with two sons. His
eldest son Mr.Murali is a Diploma holder in Catering and Hotel Management
from Switzerland. His younger son Mr.Navin, Engineering Graduate from Anna
University, Guindy, is now serving as an Engineer at a Multi National Company
at Bangalore.
Our Leader is a knowledgeable person, experienced, personality , caring
Human Being with Self discipline, high dignity, devotion, dedication, determination
and above all Distinction. We have a Gentleman Governor of punctuality
for the year 2007-2008 to take our District 324-A4 to greater heights.
